| WELCOME & PURPOSE Friends and family of the BRIDE and GROOM, welcome and thank you for being here on this important day. We are gathered together to celebrate the very special LOVE between Groom and Bride, by joining them in marriage. Marriage is an act of faith and it requires great love and complete trust to pledge oneself to share one's life with just one person forsaking all others. All of us need and desire to love and to be loved. And the highest from of love between and man and a woman is in a monogamous relationship where neither one has any desire to be with anyone else. OFFICIANT COUNSEL OFFICIANT: To make your relationship work will take more than LOVE. It will take TRUST, and knowing in your HEART that you want only the best for each other. While love is our natural state of BEING, the qualities of TRUST, DEDICATION and FAITH must be developed. REMEMBER to always give respect to one another even when you disagree, bear with each other's weaknessess, COMFORT each other in times of trouble and sorrow, WORK with generous hearts to provide for the material needs of each other and you household. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil. Love REJOICES in good. And love can stand to know the TRUTH.
