Correspondence is done primarily through email, fax, and U.S. mail. What is the elopement package? The elopement package includes: your California marriage license, wedding ceremony, wedding officiant, 8 digital photos, rose-petal decorations and a certified copy of your marriage license. What beaches are available for weddings on the sand in Los Angeles or Orange County? California Coast Weddings arranges weddings in Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Redondo Beach, , Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. What wedding services do California Coast Weddings provide? Services we provide include: all aspects of planning a beach wedding in Southern California (Los Angeles County & Orange County). Our Complete Elopement Package includes your wedding ceremony, wedding officiant, California Mariage License, and decorations. We also have professional photographers on staff. More inclusive packages for larger weddigs include: chairs set-up for up to 100 guests, an arch on the sand, beach wedding permit . A wedding coordinator is required for wedding parties with more than 50 guests. The wedding coordinator provides guidance to vendors, guests and the coordinator will be on site at the beach at least two hours before your wedding and reachable by phone on the day of your wedding for last minute details and concerns. Do we need to have a beach permit? Yes and no. Each beach has its own rules and regulations, some beaches are managed by the county, others by the state and there are also city beaches with their own set of restrictions. It is best to first decide which beach you would like for your wedding and determine the laws for that beach. State beaches require a permit no matter how many people attend a wedding. Los Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors allows beach weddings to take place without a permit if you have under 50 attendees including the bride and groom. City beaches like Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach all have different rules. Some beaches require just a permit and others require a permit and liablilty insurance. We are having under 50 guests, however, we are having chairs, do we need to have a permit? Yes, if you rent chairs or hire vendors for any service related to your wedding, you will need to obtain a beach wedding permit and insurance Is the beach private? The beaches in California are public. If you want your wedding to be on the sand there is the possiblity that beach-goers will be present. If you have a beach permit, our wedding coordinator will do her best to place the beach wedding set up in a location away from beach patrons. If you have your wedding after 5pm there are usually fewer people on the beach. How much is the parking fee? Parking for most beaches in Los Angeles and Orange county is about $7. Do you provide the California Marriage Licnese? Yes, this means you do not have to go to the county clerk's office to apply for the marriage licnese. We take care of the entire process. What documentation do we need to obtain the California marriage license? You will need to have a driver's license (from any state in the U.S.) or a passport (from any country) or military identification. If you have been divorced in the past two years, he will need to see a copy of the divorce decree. You DO NOT need to have your birth certificate. What happens if it is rainning on our wedding day? What is the weather like in the Winter months? You need to have a emergency plan in place. It is best to make arrangements to have your wedding at your reception site or if it is just the two of you, perhaps your hotel suite. The weather in Winter is warm during the day and cold at night, it can also be windy at the beach. It is a good idea to bring warm clothing and shoes to walk in the sand. Do you have suggestions for reception locations? You can have your reception catered on the beach (permit requried). If you are having under 50 guests you will not need a coordinator. Do you provide a sound system? Yes, we can provide a sound system. A sound system is allowed if a permit is obtained. Can you provide references? California Coast Weddings is a member of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce. We are also authorized by the Los Angeles County Clerk to issue the California marriage license for weddings taking place in Los Angeles County. How do we reserve our wedding date and time?
